The Playground
"Work and play are words used for the same thing under differing conditions"
- Mark Twain
![]() The playground is open at Market Street Press, and we wholeheartedly embrace this concept of cooperation and imagination. We apply this theme to our products and the manner in which we do business. This is achieved by crafting products that are themselves fun, imaginative, interactive, innovative, and informative; and by building business relationships based on cooperation, friendship and collaboration. And our playground does not stop in the backyard but spans the world; from our North Carolina headquarters to our nationwide distribution centers and international facilities in Europe and Asia. Join our design team in working together to make new promotional items; we feature exclusive patent pending items found nowhere else to ensure that you have the latest toys on the block. We will work with you toward designing, engineering and prototyping products that put our experience and creativity toward your goals We have a huge array of tools to work with on our playground but instead of see-saws and sandboxes we offer a complete line of state-of-the-art printing services including: offset, screen, pad, large format digital and much more. We also offer cutting edge finishing resources such as lamination, laser engraving and die-cutting; in addition to warehousing at our North Carolina headquarters At Market Street Press we feel the products we create reflect our positive attitudes, providing you with exceptional and dependable items dedicated to serving you, our customer. Products that fulfill your purpose not only in the business playground but where you need your message to be. Market Street Press believes that human potential is a community's most powerful asset. MSP applies this philosophy through the employment of differently-abled individuals to complete fulfillment tasks at local workshops, and through its financial and in-kind support of the Sandhills Conductive Education Foundation and the Arc of Moore County. The Sandhills Conductive Education Foundation (SCEF) is a nonprofit educational organization that provides support to families of children with physical disabilities, and a classroom program of conductive education to help these special children achieve increased independence. SCEF is the only program of its kind in North Carolina, and it serves children from the surrounding states as well. The Arc of Moore County, provides a variety of services and supports to individuals and families. As an advocacy organization, they work at the local, state and national level to encourage new and better opportunities for inclusive living, working and leisure for people with disabilities, while supporting self-advocates to achieve all goals of independence and dignity. Market Street Press is always on the lookout for ways to involve these special community members as we focus on our four I's - "imagination", "interaction", "innovation", and "information" to create promotional products that are fun and inexpensive. With our community outreach we add a fifth I -"inclusion" and celebrate that indeed the playground is open for all! For our team, doing our part to protect the environment is just as important as helping the people around us. Our new facilities are designed with staying green in mind, utilizing solar and alternative energy sources in conjunction with energy-efficient appliances and items within the office. We are a progressive company moving headlong into the digital era, freeing ourselves from the reliance on old fashioned wasteful methods by employing a nearly paperless office that uses largely post-consumer recycled materials. The responsible and caring attitudes at Market Street Press don't stop when the work day ends and we are proud to extend this outlook to both our customers and our community. |
